Hands of Hope

I'm so grateful for your continued support of me and the Bolivian Hope Center — you are truly a blessing!

When kids are enjoying their school vacation (in December/January), many of the older ones look for  summer jobs. We’re thrilled they have the chance to gain new skills, earn money, and learn about saving and spending wisely.

However, things can be challenging here. Unfortunately, some employers have been taking advantage of our kids—expecting extra hours without pay or even refusing to compensate them altogether.

So we’re starting a new initiative: selling handmade items from Bolivia to support the ministry. This would help provide a safe way for the children to learn valuable skills and earn money without exploitation.

Several of the kids are planning and making handmade items.

During school vacations, they have plans to practice new skills and design new products to share with the world.  Each of these kids are extremely talented in their different areas of expertise, and I'm excited that you get to see what I see every day.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the products, know that the money earned will be distributed directly to the makers, to save and to use to purchase more supplies for new products that they are interested in making.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
